On the first Wednesday of the month, from March to November, enjoy morning tea in the Art Gallery. Learn more about the Art Gallery’s exhibition program from artists, curators, designers and specialists in the visual arts.

Senior Lecturer Visual Communications Design, Dr Simone O’Callaghan explains the collaboration between University of Newcastle students of design and the Art Gallery. At a summer school, students worked with the Newcastle Art Gallery to develop a response to the exhibition WARWAR: The Art of Torres Strait for Smart Space – an interpretive space within the Art Gallery.
